Tooth Coloured Fillings

We love providing the most beautiful tooth coloured fillings in town! A filling is probably the most common dental procedure we perform at toothco Cotton Tree. We take great pride in providing a pain-free experience and creating a great looking filling that becomes almost indistinguishable from your natural tooth. 

What are fillings made out of? 

The dental fillings we use today are made of a white tooth-coloured resin material. This material comes in many shades of white and can be matched to your tooth. We no longer use the traditional amalgam or mercury filings that can leak or cause the tooth to crack. 

Are they strong? 

White fillings are very strong in small amounts but weak when the filling is very large. That is why when a hole or cavity involves more than 60% of a tooth, it generally requires a porcelain crown for the tooth to last in the long-term.

Fillings range in cost from $150-$400 depending on the size and extent of the decay or crack on the tooth.
